Comments about Burton Custom EST Snowboard Binding:
I paired these with the Family Tree Con Artist, see my review of that board.
I wanted something much more flexible than my cartels. I progessively got stiffer bindings and just missed the flexibility and freedom of more flexible bindings I used to use. I was a little scared to try a binding this soft again, but was a brilliant risk. Sometimes you go back to go forward.
As Jake says in his review you truly get a surfy feel and no doubt it's true, I feel much more loose and free than ever before. I love these and they look killer in blue. Was a superb choice for what I was looking for which was a looser more intuitive ride, but in a natural way if that makes sense.
I primarily like to hit the POW in Hokkaido and these mated with the Con Artist rock!! Just effortless smooth riding.
