As the son of backcountry legend Masanori Takeuchi, it didn’t take long for Haruki to appreciate the hype around backcountry snowboarding. Haruki took the less traditional route at a young age and dedicated himself to riding where others wouldn’t dare to go. Haruki has extensive excellent backcountry knowledge—and he’s only 17. He can also throw down in the terrain park when he feels like keeping it on piste.
